Which full size tiller for around 500-600 bucks?

    I am going to be redoing my yard with sod because my friend I used did a terrible job of seeding it.I own an acre and will be sodding atleast 1/2 acre plus will be adding a garden in the next year or two.Well what do you reccomend?

    Go rent your self a tractor with a 3pt mounted tiller. I did a 1/4 acre once with my troybuilt horse model Never again. I use my 48" wide 3pt on my kubota more than any other attachment. It will save you so much time.

    But if you really want one to own. Troybuilt is the only way to go.

    Totally agree with Itsgottobegreen on this. You don’t want to even attempt using a walk behind tiller on an area this big. A tiller behind a real tractor is the way to go. Best of luck to you.

    Something to rent would be a bobcat or tractor w/ a Harley Rake. That's the best tool to prepare a seed or sod bed.
    We use Honda tillers, always dependable.

    harley rake all the way..... its expensive but worth every dime
