My point was that you can take a close up look at the tread and compare it to the Turf Masters on their 900 series ZTR's. That may not tell you everything, but it gives an indication of what to expect. New tires will always tear worse since the edges of all the tread blocks are still nice and sharp/square.

That's what I normally do. I don't try to abuse them by power turning or anything stupid like that, but I just make nice smooth turns back and forth on the pavement before using them to try to just break that sharp edge. I also have to mow places where I have to turn around out on the pavement a lot, and that takes care of most of it for me.

I always use the Turf Masters because they are easy on turf. Like Ridin said the rounded corners are nice and the Turf Masters have the rounded corners too.

Just put a set of Turf Masters on my Lazer. They are much better but then again, I was down to the cords on my other set. $220 installed at a local tire shop.

I have the multi tracs on my walker and Toro G3 and they're amazing. We have alot of hills where I mow, so max traction is necessary without tearing up the turf. They've served me well over the years!

TURF TRAC R/S looks to have more rounded chunks than turf master and multi track
