Which One?!

    Hey, I have two very old trimmers. I want two new ones next year. I have a problem though, blade or string!? Please tell me which one and why?

    Trailer-Road Boss-8ft-wood bottom
    RideOnMower-Yazoo-26hp-61" deck
    PushMower-LawnBoy-7hp-21" deck
    2 Trimmers- 5hp
    (Looking for 2 blowers)

    i think unless your trimming brush 5 days a week, string is the way to go. Its much less forgiving if you screw up and a lot more flexible. If you hit a wood fence with string - np, but a blade - your asking for trouble. Plus I think it will give a much better cut and wont tear up your shaft like a solid blade will when you hit stuff.
