Which Trimmer?

    Having trouble deciding between one of two trimmer? Shindaiwa T242 or Kawasaki KGT27A, can anyone help:confused:

    I don't use either. I use an echo for the light weight or a sthil for the power. but as far as those brands, I'm not sure. I hear shindaiwa users like them though. I just responded because noone else did. It was a pitty response really. sorry

    Have used Shindaiwa for about 5 yrs. I love em...reliable and enough power for the residentials I do.

    Kawasaki KGT27A, I love mine, very smooth.

    i've found the john deere trimmers are the best. easy to start and plenty of power we use the betterheads.com head. can edge and trim vines with no problems tried echo like jd better

    I have both. The t242 never gets used. The KGT27A is the best all around trimmer I have used. It is very light and balanced. The 26.3cc engine has more than enough power.

    Do your self a favor and get the Kawasaki.

    Get a Stihl FS-250r, its a little heavier than the others but the power is amazing.
