Okay so I am in need of a ZTR. My current mower is breaking down all the time and costing me money. I mow about 10 yards a week and the mower would get 12-15 hours use per week. I have it narrowed down to 2 mowers.
    08 Toro Z master 441 21hp Kawi 52" Turbo force 4500 brand new
    or
    05 Exmark Lazer CT 48" 18hp Briggs 106 hours 3500 used

Heres why the toro is so cheap. Its an 08 leftover, Toro made the dealer buy it and he just wants to get rid of it because he pushes hustlers and makes more off of them. I demoed it and its great. The cut is awsome. I want to get the Toro but my dad wants me to get the exmark because he thinks it will have better resale in 2 years when i got to college and don't mow anymore. But there is only 1 exmark dealer within 50 miles from my house and he doesn't have the best reputation. The toro dealer is 5 miles away and has great service.

    Which one would you get?

in this deal the toro is a better deal. better engine, better deck for only 12-15 yards a week this would be a steal, some guys pay this much for walk behinds.

Thats what i was thinking. I figure i could sell it in 2 years with 3-400 hours on it for darn near what i would pay for it.

I bought the Toro. I got him down to 4000 out the door. Went and picked it up yesterday. I ran it all day friday and this morning until it started raining. The deck is great! I had to finish a yard today in the pooring down rain and it was disperseing the clippings awsome, no clogging or clumps. The striping is good but not great, after a stripe kit it will be much better. I will post pics soon.

Toro and Exmark are the same anyway..........one owns the other.....both are excellent mowers.

True to a large degree but the performance of each deck in difference grasses can make a large difference between them.
