I just got a quote for insurance $1,643/year for $1,000,000 liability and 25K property insurance. This seems high to me and was wondering who yall used?

Erie was the cheapest (and best, cheapest isn't always better, compare apples to apples) for me. I dont have concrete numbers right in front of me, but I was able to get 1M + 1M umbrella (2M total) for less than I was paying for 1M at my last provider. Another plus: I have my liability, Workers' comp., Commercial vehicles and umbrella policy all through them, and write one check per month for all my insurance. Previously I was writing 3 different checks per month to 3 different companies.

we have Farm Bureau also, but they base the premium on the payroll, the more payroll the more the general liability costs.
