Still have about 60 clean-ups to go. Mostly light ones, though. It is raining pretty heavily here now, and the snow really seems to be melting. It would be a great Christmas gift is we were able to get another week or two of work in.
I like plowing and all, but 18", that was ridiculous. Happy Holidays, all. Mike

we had 3-4 inches on the ground yesterday morning, this morning- nothing. It rained hard and long last night. Probably will get as many done as possible over the next few days, even plan on working Sunday. They're calling for heavy snow by Monday again.

Get those jobs done and the statements out!

I'm at school taking exams today but the guys are working on 8 cleanups today. We also have some more for tomorrow and Saturday and then we should be pretty much done.

We have approx 150+- a few left - hope the "wintry mix" fizzles so we can resume next week. We receivced enormous amounts of rain last night & this morning which flooded out a lot of places. Tomorrow, wehave to plant the 4 trees which have been in my one pick-up for a week now. We have an 8' Eastern white pine, 7-8' river birch, 8' Stellar pink dogwood and a 6' Canadian hemlock.

I for one would like to see no more snow til at least mid-January so I may finish.

I'm in SW PA and the Fall season was about 10-12 days earlier this year (at least I think so). Most of the leaf removal work was done by Thanksgiving. I still had a few minor cleanup jobs left for last week. I did the last mowing job one week ago.

Last year, snow came fast and heavy right after Thanksgiving, so the last 10-12 jobs never were finished. This year, I did many mowing jobs AFTER all the leaves were done -- turf was still growing, great green color, and the leaves were long gone. This is unusual for my properties. Usually, the last mowings include some final cleanup too.

I've still found some other odd jobs to do (hauling compost piles, digging out bushes, or anything else somebody will give me to do).

I'm done with clean-ups but 2 days ago a customer called and wanted a final cut. Good thing I haven't made time to winterize the equipment.

well, trob, it looks like we will be ble to resume sometime next week!
That snow disappeared overnight with all that rain! I'm gonna let things dry out a bit and resume Monday weather permitting.

Since I don't have a plow, I NEED these clean ups!
