I like to wear the full style headphone and listen to the radio but where I mow the reception isn't very good.
I'd like to try a pod or an mp3 but I know very little about them.
Can anyone tell me if they work?

I bought a Racetunes headphone radio from Northern Tools and it came with the cord for a scanner.I went to Radio Shack and purchased an adapter to go from mono to stereo for the end of the cord.( around $3). Then plugged in my Ipod nano. Works great. I keep the Ipod in my shirt or sweatshirt pocket to keep the dirt off.

Go here: http://www.csuk.us/ and check out the FM Pro III headset. These are the ones I use and they work really well. A little more expensive than Peltors but they have digital tuning that doesn't drift like the Peltors analog tuning.

Racetunes is exactly the same as worktunes with the added advantage of the cord.
