Who worked on turkey day??

    Just wondering if any of you worked today?

    I had 2 leaf clean-ups to finish before noon get-togethers at good clients houses. Got both done, charge double time for today.
    Told them I was no diff. than a plumber, or a electrician on a holiday. Both wanted them done today, both paid..

    Not me dude. I've got a roaster and a prime rib on the smoker and a fist full of Jack Daniels. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

    Good for you Shawn, I would have charged double for working today as well.

    We got 10" of snow and plowed all morning.

    I winterized my 22" push mower and worked on a pair of hedge shears. Does that count?

    Rainman...I hope you don't have a large family. If you can't at least take family day off without interuption, I am afraid you are doing something wrong. Sorry, thats just bad. I too am very far behind and all, but thats just the type of thing to expect in this business.

    was done by 10:45. my two year old did not even know I was not home thank you for your concern of my family.
