Hey everyone, I'm just starting in the business, and I have some questions about where to get the best prices in the S.E. Pa. area, I'm located near valley forge. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Check with a nursery near you. Ask if they discount to landscapers. If you do a lot of mulching then ask them where they get their mulch and contact that company. Set up an account and go from there. I stock pile my own. I get it 70 yrds at a time with a cost of almost 900.00. I have my own loader and dump so it pays for me to do it that way..

We were thinking about doing that in 05. It sounds much more practical to us since we are going to be doing well over 100 yards next spring. We'll probably be loading it up with our new 4510 :)

Thanks for sharing how you go about finding wholesalers

I get my mulch by the tractor trailer load and pay $600 for at least 75 yards. Not to bad when you have a place to put it and a loader.
