Because it won't freeze and it remains super slick in sub-zero temperatures.

Fluid Film works great on salt spreaders, will keep locks from freezing, will protect and keep discharge chutes from clogging in snow blowers, will keep snow from sticking on plows and shovels, and is an excellent vehicle undercoating which will keep your truck or vehicle protected for a full year.

Battery outputs are greater during the colder months, so protect them with a light coat of Fluid Film. Fluid Film is non-conductive and is safe to use around electrical equipment. Just make sure your connections are tight before applying.
