I've always wondered why not. They do have a electric push mower I believe.
Totally different product line.
Not only would new manufacturing facilities would be needed an 2nd engineering staff to over see the mower line.
Knowing that they now manufacture can not share parts with any new mowers means there would be no cost savings.
it would be pretty tough for them do well in that market too, its easier and probably much more profitable for them to specialize in hand helds, and small equipment like they do with the chainsaws, and backpack blowers and trimmers and hedge trimmers that fly off the shelf, vs design a mower, and do all kinds of other stuff to try and compete with scag and other top names. just not worth it to them.
I'm guessing the gas cap designer would produce a completely unneeded innovation to allow more fuel to be spilled down your pants. The parts would be unbelievably expensive and never in stock. And you'd probably have to use only their oil or it would carbon up and die. Blades would be $50 each and they'd only sell them in packs of 5.

This made my night and reminded me why I am a sthil hatter and a dolmar lover Oh and they (Dolmar) have lawnmowers, just in other countries though
Nope, Blades would be Stihl chainsaw bars you could change out on your saw.
Husky has mowers, maybe they cannot compete against Husky?
Because it would be junk like all other stihl equipement. I have all stihl power equip. and its all worthless.
I like that cap Really like it on the oiler on the pole say
Now with the screw cap the string hold cap to the tank gets all twisted up and few times you have to un twist it so can get cap off.
That's where you're wrong. All guys like you do is bash, bash and bash. You hate Stihl, so go run echo or is it shindaiwa or maybe you like red max wait, they're owned by husqvarna.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Stihl is Stihl, they aren't owned by anyone else and make the best hand held equipment money can buy.
Really? please xplain
