customers are o.k. for $25 dollar jobs that take 15 minutes but balk at $200 dollar jobs that take 2 hours.. why is this??? its the same rate of pay for both jobs. can someone please elaborate and explain this to me? thanks.

It's not about the hours of labor involved, it's about opening up their wallet to pay the 200 bucks. 25 bucks is pretty easy to hand over, for 200, people will first think about it and decide if they really need the job done.

thats true to an extent but, they also know before they call whether the job is going to be expensive or cheap..(ex. they want 3 yards of mulch delivered and spread and 100 annuals planted.) surely they are going to know that its not going to be a $25 dollar job and that it will take some time...

Customers don't look at it like that. They are concerned with dollar amount.

That is exactly why some people mow for $20, it is an easy sell......
