Why so long

    Its 2006 already and Cat makes a C CR mini Excavator replacing all the 05 models....why the hell is thier web site not up dated yet with the specs?

    Incorrect. Cat has not released the CCR mini machines yet. The 301.8C and 302.5C are the only new C series in the mini lineup.

    They haven't released the 06 CCR's yet I don't believe, that's what I meant.

    My dealer said he should be getting the CCR models in a month or so...maybe he's pulling my leg....

    our 301.8C is due here in Feb....I don't see it on our Cat site...matter of fact I don't see anything on our Cat site:confused: ....might ask them whats going on with it on Monday when I'm handing over a big fat chequepayup :cry:

    No idea on this myself. I'm not sure how long it takes to update the web site, but Cat isn't always on the ball when it comes to things. (Deere and Komatsu are pretty good, but Komatsu leaves its old models up there with the new ones -- at first glance, the last two WB150 entires look the same to me http://www.komatsuamerica.com/index.cfm?resource_id=113 .

    Anyhow, I'd expect the website to be updated within the first half-year. (That is a lot of time, but the B-series skids are mentioned in a news release from March 2005 -- two years after they were introduced!)

    I think they're waiting to actually release the machines before they put out the specs.
