I have a customer (potential customer at this point) that has wild strawberries encroaching on his turf. Says he's tried Roundup but they still came back! I was thinking of something 'selective'. Any ideas or experiences with this? Thanks...:)

wild strawberry (or Cinquefoil which is what it might really be) is a bit difficult but any '3 way' product will get the job done. It will most likely take several applications

Sorry guys, I should know better...I should have consulted the 'search' database here! Found that Confront or other 2,4D products will work. I would guess a couple apps may be in order.

  4. Bingo, same with the round up. More apps were needed.

Strawberries also indicate acidic soil, right? I'd check the PH and you'll probably find that lime is needed.
