i was thinking about getting a cheap nissan, isuzu, or mitusbishi cabover, but will it pull a bobcat? my other option is a 95 ram stake dump, with a cummins diesel. it costs a lot more than the cabovers $16500. I just need a good reliable truck but i dont wanna spend too much. its my first year so i wanna keep the overhead low.

I have a 95 UD (Nisssan) dump with 6 cyl. turbo diesel. I love the truck and will probably continue to buy them. We tow a New Holland LS 180 skid steer with it, and also the 16' enclosed landscape trailer. Not very fast, but it will get you there.

an isuzu npr cabover will easily pull a skid steer , cant go wrong with a cabover there easier than driving a car and more heavy duty than any one ton ford, chevy, dodge, turns tighter than a mustang. i wouldnt do anything but isuzu though, they have a killer warranty and better engine(6cyl-turbo diesel-175hp-350ft pds torque ). as soon as i can i will buy one so i can carry my 300g rig a full days fert and mow off the same truck
