Started a lawncare business in spring, grew fast need to get a ZTR for spring. I was wondering if it would be able to get up my ramps? I have a pretty nice galvanized Karavan trailer that i bought new this year. I noticed that a lot of the lawn care guys in my area have trailers that are lower to the ground than mine. Just want to make sure that it will work.

    Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem but I would go to your local dealer and have them or you try running their demo mower up it to be sure.

Has anyone ever had a problem getting a ZTR on a trailer?

It shouldn't be a problem. Simply take the trailer with you when you are checking out mowers. Find one you like, and pull it onto the trailer to check it out.

I think it will. My garden tractor clears it. I believe the zero turn mowers decks go a little higher so that would help. I could also put a 1/2 flat piece of wood along the bottom of the ramps if need be.

I had a problem with one of my trailers. The bes solution I was able to find was flipping my hitch(2" drop" ). So it raised the front of the trailer and lowered the back and the decks did not hit any more

You should be fine, the only time I ever had a problem was loading on an uphill approach.

    yes it definitely is fine.
there are a lot of hills here, so there are a lot of sloping roads.
try backing the ztr into the trailer, so you can just drive right off instead of backing down.
i find me and my crews like it better this way, especially in a sloped driveway near narrow busy streets.
