will sod grow on river sand

    doing a an 1800 square foot sodding job. will the sod take off and make on river sand?

    If it is Bermuda it will.

    I will say yes it will. I live in Florida on the West Coast. Everything is planted on sand here. I have an acre of St. Augustine that is thriving on sand. I've seen Bahia grow on sand. It must be watered in and fertilized to succeed.
