Will a kawasaki fh480v 16hp fit on a 1995 toro wb, 36'' floating deck with a 12.5 kohler command, model 30157, i can get a good price on this engine and was wondering if it would fit on my backup mower. Thanks

Well if it wont you could always get a torch and welder and make it fit. Is the crank shaft the same size?

Only you know if the crank is the same or not. Each engine comes in a wide variety of shaft lengths, tapers and diameters. Some have a step and some don't. Find out what the specs are on your current engine and then compare them to the new engine. If you don't know how to do that then post every number that you can find on your old engine and then the model and spec number off of the Kawasaki that you're looking at.

If the toro has a electric engagement clutch you also need to know if the alternator on the new engine has enough amps to engage and hold it as well.
