I have a question about the winter time work you do..I am in the chicago area and I don't do snow removal yet since it can be so hit and miss...I wonder what other things you might b e doing in the off season?

Handyman work - buy a house to rehab, this is a great way to keep your guys busy over the winter- Do you have a big truck?? Tow boats or campers to the shows that they have Big one at Mc Cormick and another at Rosemont.
I use to work the shows and sell campers.
Hardscape is good to do over winter.
But the best thing to do over winter is travel south and find a new place to live in the heat so you can work all year. Left Chicago 8 years ago and never miss it in the winter

have you thought about interior maintenance since you are in chicago, you might have a good market for it
  5. Around here a lot of people are pulling campers down south for FEMA.

winter? what's that?! I'd say that hardscaping would probably be your best bet.

How do you get hooked in with the FEMA people?

Other than plowing a bit of snow here and there I'll be enjoying my 3 month vacation.
