So I installed an hour meter on my eXmark Turf Tracer HP (17HP Electric start) but there is some problems with it. I currently have it wired into the Regulator and ground on the key switch. The problem is that if I run the machine for 33 actual minutes, the hour meter tells me I ran it for 16 minutes.

So I need help wiring it in so it reads the correct amount of time. I have attached high res images of the wiring diagrams below. Anybody know where to wire it in?

    Thanks!

I would say the hour meter is bad. As a test, attach it to ground and the 12V dirrectly from the battery. Run it for 30 minutes and see how it does. I bet it still reads bad.

As for the wiring - that is where I would have attached it!
