I'm here checking in. I see PR's truck from time to time I think. Bad memory but it's a 70ish Chevy, think I saw you a month or so ago you drove by as I was leaving the man mall in Appleton.

Yes, I'm still here. The yellow truck is a 78 Chev. Another crazy year, not like last year but, crazy weather still the same. We at at a little slowdown in the lawns, going threw equipment maintenance and waiting for some rain. Then the big fall push. Hey if you guys see Bill "B&J lawn Care" stop and say hi and wish him well. He had a fire a few weeks back. He was burned bad on his arm and face. His Scag mower went into flames as he was parking it in his trailer. With the back of the enclosed trailer in flames, he was lucky to get out the front curb door. He told me 90% of the time he has a pad lock on that door, but for some reason he forgot to lock it last time he used it. His trailer and all his equipment were destroyed.

He lives in Menasha (town of Harison) but the fire was at a customers house on Appletons north side. Took out have of the guys front yard, and a city tree. No good at all.

I may be in the market for a leaf loader for fall, anyone have one in WI? I know this isn't the best place to post this but looking local.

I haven't seen any good deals lately, there's a billy goat on craigslist for $3000 that looks in great shape but it doesn't have much information about it other than it's an 08 for roughly the price of a new one. A few months ago there was one down in your neck of the woods for $1000 that seemed like a good deal but it sold before I could move on it. I'll keep my eyes open for you.

I search Cl on the daily, they move fast. I keep seeing the Billy Goat one, you are correct it is not much less than new and the hose has seen better days. Also may be in the market for a walk behind blower. I have to get a client with a bunch of buildings to commit on leaf cleanup before I buy anything. I know the new Gravely units are about $2200 for an 8".

You may be a little late on that one. A rental shop by me just sold a couple because they got new ones for their rental fleet for this season, again I'll keep my eyes open but not many in useable condition seem to go for sale during the prime season, before or after you can find good deals.

I'll take broke, blown motor, needs hose, etc. As long as it is somewhat intact I can fix it.

Just thought I would say hello to fellow cheese heads. Red Cedar area here (Menomonie). I am new and should be starting up for this summer. Anyways, just wanted to swing by and say hello.
