Woods 5120 Zero Turn Riding Mower

    Woods 5120 Zero Turn Riding Mower Kubota 3 cylinder Gas? any body have experience with this rig? i found one on ebay for 1500.

    That appears to be an early to mid 90's model. Grasshopper was making them back then. It is probably identical to the Grasshopper 721D.
    Transmissions, if replacement is needed, are about $1200.00/side. That is the most expensive thing it might need.

    Those were top-of-the-line mowers in their day. The same machine is still being built by Grasshopper with minor updates. A machine like that today will cost about $10,000.00 new.
    I have seen many of those machines run for 20 years or more, if maintained properly.
    It was designed for heavy duty commercial use.

    I like the grasshopper deck and seat. They are good mowers, very dependable and the little kubota is a top notch engine. I however do not like using front mount mowers now since im used to the mid mount style of mowers. It would be a great mower for the cash and for residential use.
