    I have a chance to buy a Woods 6170 48",18hp,2 years old for $2500..
    Was used at a park.
Anyone own one or have any advice about it.
I know about the pros/cons of a front deck mower.

Will use for small commercial properties.

    Input is greatly appreciated.....

Only 2 years old! Sounds like a pretty good deal! I have test drove the front deck mowers and personally do like the mid mount zero turns alot better for usability but for a price like that you could probably deal with it!

Woods machines have been made by many different companies over the years. Not sure who was building them 2 years ago. Woods dealers tell me parts availability is not good for any of the Woods ZTR machines. They can get parts, but it often takes weeks.

Grasshopper has not built the woods mowers since about 1996 or 1997 I believe. So, anything newer will not have parts common to Grasshoppers.
