    Hello everyone,
This is my first post but I have been doing alot of research on this wonderful site. I am looking at a 2003 woods diesel mower with 60" cut that has around 200 hours. They look very simular to the Grasshoppers, but are they the same quality since they are no longer built by grasshopper. The kubota engine is the same but are the hydros the same? Is $8000 a good price since it hase been sitting on their lot for over a year?
We have been using a small 42 dixon residential mower to mow about 10-12 acres a week and it is definately time to upgrade! I test drove a new Grasshopper front-mount yesterday and WOW big difference! I can't seem to swallow the 13k price tag through. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

The tractor part of the 2003 F21D was built by Gravely. Yes, this is a decent machine.

You might pull up a manual on Woods web site for it. In the parts section, it might list what hydros are on it.

Just for price comparison, I have a Woods F25 with 202 hours and a 52" deck. I am planning on listed it for $4800.

You get what you pay for. Kia's cost less than Cadillac's.
