Would anyone recommend an EZ-Gate?

Im too old to be heaving my ramp on my trailer up and down all day and have seen a product called an EZ-Gate. Basically its a long spring held within a clyinder that attaches atop the side rails and has a cable from one end of the spring and the other atop your tail gate. Theory is that it takes most the weight off the ramp and you can lift the ramp up with ease.

Its over $100 and im not sure it'd be worth it. If any of you have one, please provide some feedback.

    Thanks.

I have one & it is well worth the $$ I can lift the gate very easily with one hand standing off to the side of it. Wouldn't be without one now.

Do a search and you'll find a ton of info on this and others including homemade units. I made my own and can't understand why everyone doesn't have one. I can't imagine raising and lowering my gate in 92-95 degree heat all day.
Most of your results will be in the truck/trailer forum.
