Do you send an invoice for just one lawn service visit? One cut, last week in April. Or add it to the May invoice?

I'd probably just add it to May's Invoice.

I bill out all services in April, I do not carry over to the next month, that is how I run my P & L statements,( profit & loss), keeping all activities in the same month. Not everyone may do that, but "it works for me".

I bill it for the month it was done.

Watch out for customers calling asking why they are being billed for 5 mowings in May.

I have accounts that has as many as 6 for the month of May depending on the weather. I think the issue is whether or not to take the time to invoice for just one cut. Guess it's up to the LCO.

Personally, "the goods were shipped" so why not collect?

I will bill for 1 cut, done it back in march, sometimes people tend to forget or maybe I would forget. Best thing to do is to bill it out and get your $$$$$ helps to keep the book work straight
