would you buy a demo unit?

A local dealer has a left over 2012 exmark that they are selling for $2000 under its "new" msrp. It has under 30 hours on it and still comes with the full manufacturers warranty. My concern is that those first 30 hours could have been a rough 30. We've all had some fun in a rental car because we know we're going to end up giving it back. So... if you were me, would you purchase the demo unit at a very large decrease in price, or pay $2000 more in the spring for a brand new unit. Thanks in advance for any help!

I would and have bought them. The warranty is what's important to me. 30hrs is nothing, most that demo them are afraid of them and aren't nearly as rough with them as your help would be. lol

Absolutely. My first everride was a demo with about 100 hours on it. Saved me 2400 bucks

Even if it had a rough thirty hours that still a good deal. My mower is a demo

Two grand off and with a full warranty? If the dealer has a good reputation for taking care of his customers....absolutely.

Same question I saw a few months ago. People were slamming the guy for wanting to buy this poece of crap beat to hell almost new mower. I bought both mine with 170 hr. 2-3 k off. One was a demo. One was just used, 1 yr old. Its a good deal ESPECIALLY with Toro and Exmark ! Best warranty in the industry. The deck bushings on the demo were shot when I got it indicating some rough use but they were replaced and never had another problem. Both are over 500 now.
