I am by no means an expert but that seems way overpriced. Just my thoughts from other ones i have seen for sale.

Well like i said, i don't have one or anything whatsoever but figure this, once the mower leaves the lot, it is only worth about 1/2 if its original price and 5000 is NOT half. Like i said, i have no idea of a good price, i just know that 5000 is too much! Sorry i couldn't help any further, oh one idea is the check ebay to see what they are going for!

I probably wouldn't. I would rather have the new machine for about $1500 more. It will last a lot longer and you will know the service history, etc.. If your financing it out your payments won't be that much higher.

Really. I know 5K seems high but 2K seems pretty low.

$2000 is a fair price to a buyer
$3500 is a fair price to a seller
$2,750 would be about fair to both
I would not pay much over the 2k, the mowers 3-4 yrs old and I have no idea of the service it would have recieved. Every yr theres a bunch of guys going out of business that sell the mowers and equipment the purchased the previous yrs for less than 50%
