Well I thought I would post this
I was ask to bid on this I already turned my bid in for mowing
The blue section is hay sections everything else is weekly lawn mowing
The owner does have a grounds keeper but he been having problems with him

    40 acres of Lawn turf
2.5 miles vinyl fence counting both sides
1 mile around the 12 acre lake
535 other items to trim around

What would you charge for this??? I know everybody's market price would be different Be cool to see the price range

If I win this This would be my 3rd big lawn I take care of Right now I do a 85 acre and a 25 acre lawn
If I win this bid I think its time buy a ride on 16' batwing like a Toro Ac cab

It's like $1400 cut with standard ZTR equipment, IF its normal maintainable turf.

No obstacles in the middle of it? like trees etc?
Im assuming it's not all rocky and weird.

If you have an S-ton of those dixie choppers why not just have 3-4 of them go to this one site?

the thing with getting a bat wing is, what if the guy up and cancels on you?

you can always use a 60 or 72" ztr… but the batwing mowers? it's only real big stuff.
Id want a multi year contract before i bought specialty equipment.

Edit: ok now I can see all those little dang trees.

its well into the "impossible to estimate" without looking at it in person category.

    It's at least $1400 plus

Without actually looking at it in person, I'd be around $1600-$1800.
Do you have to edge that long driveway as well?

I will bet dollars to donuts it goes for 15 dollars an acre to either a national that knows it's numbers or some noob that thinks he knows his numbers.:usflag:

If I bought any piece of equipment for that property it would be a walker or navigator. Have the 72s busting out the acreage and the walker doing the areas with obstacles with a guy following trimming. I wouldn't even know what kinda numbers for that wayy out of my league. Whats the grounds keeper using?
