it will fail in a month or two, a shop will tell you its not worth fixing..... and you will still need a trimmer.....

get your equipment from a reputible dealer, they will actually honer the warrenty, and the service you receibe will be more then worth the few dollers difference in price

it is not sound advice to suggest people buy any equipment form the box stores, :dizzy:

as mentioned, when it breaks and you take it to a shop, they will tell you its not worth fixing.....

buy your equipment from a dealer who will honer the warrenty and give you the service you need, its worth the bit of extra money

hundreds of professional here will tell you that not buying commercial grade equipment is a waste of money, dont you think most of us have tried homeowner grade stuff and found out they where right....
hundreds of times they are right... probably thousands

for starting your business buying from home depot or lowes is fine. If it breaks down they will fix it or give you a new one.

Ryobi is garbage. Listen to what the peaople here are telling you. If you spend $80 now and in 6 months, it breaks down you have down time and have to spend another $80 you will wish you spent the $160-$200 to start with. If you dont have the $160-$200 the dealership will finance you. Then just pay it off after you get paid on the first set of jobs you do.

if you read the warrenty, you will find most residential model warrenties are void if used as a commercial tool

and who is going to fix it lowes,... sure you might get a new one, like i did, then it went down in a couple of weeks....

Yep! They sure do! Whatever they don't stock, they can order for you. Take for instance the coil that always goes out in these trimmers. On this affordable trimmer that is just $80., a new coil is just $65..
