whenever i plant wpng blue atlas cedars, i never open the burlap, well today, my helper decides to open the burlap, and plant it, well when i asked him to move it over a little, he picks it up and ends up with nothing but bare roots at the end of the tree. the entire root ball stayed in the ground. can this thing possibly survive, or will i be replacing it for sure?

    I hate when that happens!

I understand what you mean, as it seems the weeping atlas's have very weak root balls from the places I get them from too.

I've had decent luck with them surviving, but make a stern point to the client to water them a few extra times during the first few weeks.
