Ok to any of you that have used a Wight Stander in 32 and or 36
I would like all plus and minus for each.

I am not worried about hills and slopes handling.

I really want to know about cut quality between the two
    and rutting comparisons.

I demoed a 32 and it cut great.
I just can't help but think the slightly wider tires on the 36 would be better.
Am I wrong on my thinking on this?

    Thank You for any help:)

The only reason for getting a 32 vs 36 would be issues getting it behind gates, but if both sizes will work for you, get the 36. You would have a much easier time selling a 36, than a 32 and the pricing are very similiar.

I own a 09 36/17 wright. I love it. I have a 52"(i know its not a 32")as well and between the two, the only difference is the cutting width and tire width. I think you'll find the 36" better than the 32" because it has a wider cut and wider drive tires. I think the 36" will cut butter than the 32" as well. But that's just what i think. Go ahead and find a dealer and demo a 36". :waving:

I have a 32 because I have many gates to get into. I haunt had any problems with it that you wouldn't have with any other mower. If gates are not a problem I'd go with a 36.

Do you really have that many gates that a 36" won't fit? Around here it's very rare that you'd need a 32".

Yes most of my gates cannot fit a 36" stander but can fit a 36" walk behind. The standers are wider at top which limits your access.

I've been real interested in standers and I didn't know that they were that much wider than WB's. I'll be a little more careful in my shopping now, Thanks.

    Thank You for the replies.

Do any of you have more comments on the 32-36 Wright Standers?

I just want to know what issues I need to consider.

I wanted the 32 because it would get me in a couple more yards
but I really think the smaller tires on it are a disadvantage.

The 32 stander kicked butt and was way faster than my exmark walkbehind
but I guess I better just go 36 to prevent some rutting and get more traction with the wider tires.

Let me know what you think?

    Thank You

Honestly I have no problems with my 32" stander. I'd get the 32.
