    Hi guys,
When we got this 36" wright stander it was cutting great. We've had it for about 6 months now. It has 930 hours on it. I have noticed recently that it kept leaving a row of uncut grass right in the middle of the two blades. We took the blades to get sharpened, and tire pressures on tires are equal. What could be the problem? It leaves the uncut grass just about all the time when im going in a strait line.

You might need new blades. The edge near the end tends to wear since it does most of the work and you get a rounded rather than a square edge, which in effect shortens the blade. Also make sure you keep the under side of the deck clean, since it will affect the air flow if it gets plugged up with crud.

Have you changed the spacers on the front wheels recently? The small Wrights really need the deck raked a bit. Make sure the front of the deck is lower than the rear of the deck. 1/8-1/4 inch lower should do.

Also compare the blades to a new set and see if they are long enough. Maybe they have been sharpened too many times.
