    Hi everyone.
I was in the market for a ztr, after lots of research and looking at how many customers signed up for the year,I changed my mind and will get a stander.
I haven't seen a lot of reviews on the quik traks.I know some people love the deck.
As far as wrights,I have owned them since 2004 and my only complaint is cutting in wet grass.everything else is top notch.
Please chime in,I need to get one today or tomorrow because next week is an all mowing week.
Demoing the john deere might be difficult due to the dealer has only one in stock (I am talking about the non wright john deere)
If I bought a john deere,I will blame wright for building mowers for john deere, just beacuse I was all set to get a wright, and never ever thought of walking into a john deere dealer.( way to go bill wright, you might loose me as a customer,if I liked the 7 iron deck)

I looked at 2012 quik trak. Drove it around for quite a bit of time. The price was so good I was considering it. The dealer really wanted it gone as he mostly sells tractors. Here are some pros and cons, somebody who owns one will have better info.

    Pros:
    1. Cut good with 7 iron deck
    2. Very fast, tracking was off a hair
    3. Seemed easier to maintain than other standers
    4. Engine, hoses, cables ect.. were all tucked away better than
other brands where everything is exposed

    Cons:
    1. Weight
    2. Wider than other brands of similar size
    3. Motion controls in awkward position
4.operator presence control on platform where you stand

The newest John Deere stander is made by Wright and painted green. I just bought one last week. My guys love it. Mine is a 661R 61" deck with a 23.5 hp engine. It really depends on what dealer is closer for service JD or Wright. Also the John Deere version does not have the 7 Iron deck. It has the wright deck.

Just curious, did you price both? If so, how did they compare? We are a Wright dealer and just curious what the JD's are selling for. A few of my customers have looked at them but been quoted prices that seemed higher than the Wrights...not sure if thats true everywhere or maybe just a few local JD dealers or what.

Also is the model you bought a Stander(fixed deck) or Stander X(floating adjustable deck)?

I pulled the trigger and got the quik trak 647A with the 7iron pro deck.
I really wanted a wright stander, but I read lots of good reviews about the 7 iron deck.
I will do a little review after I get the mower on wednesday and cut with it.
I was quoted 6k out the door with accelarator catcher and tax

I bought the 2013 661 R with the 61" deck that has the quick adjust deck with one lever. My price was around 8,600$ and they threw in a free Accelorator bagger for it. It has the 23.5 hp engine.
