I cannot afford a display ad in the yellow pages and will just have the free line listing as this is my first year in biz. Does anyone think it is worth $24 per month to have a BOLD line listing instead of regular letters? I could swing that year round but don't know if it would make any difference. Input please. Thanks.

Take your $280+ dollars and print door hangers for all the neighbors of current customers. Or nice proposals for commercial accounts.

Agreed. Wait until you can get a larger ad. Mine just came out and I can't keep up with the calls. Also, if your yellow pages has "Lawn Care" and "Landscaping" sections, put the number in both, and later with the ad, have an emphasis on your specialty.
