yellowing of turf

    I have to customers that i applied the cool weather blend i always use this time of year here in central california today during our weekly lawn service i noticed that the turf is starting to look yellow in spots i looked at the base of the turf or the soil and i noticed some white very thin thread looking stuff can someone help me identify this problem i just expanded my lawn care from mow,blow.edge to now spraying (yes i did get my license) i am a rookie just taking it slow learning a little at a time so any help that you vets can offer is very helpfull thanks.

    Fungal mycellium is a whiteish thread looking "stuff" but is usually only visable early in the morning when the lawn is damp. Generally it dissolves when touched. If it sticks to your fingers and stretches before breaking it could be spider web. They will trail a web behind them as they hunt which you can see going across the lawn in the morning.
