I ave a decent job in the computer industry but for years have wanted my own company - working outside, not inside. I have cut for years, but only family/neighbors and only with a small mower. After months of research, I made the decision to start the company on my days off - I'm off 3 days a week, plus I have mornings free. I researched for several months and when I finally made the plunge, I bought a 48" Scag Hydro WB with Advantage deck, Echo 650 Blower, Echo Trimmer/edger and a
5 x 8 trailer - all this with basically no customers, just a desire and "gut feeling". I took a few months to learn the mower pretty well and now I am starting to get some clients for next year. I'm also getting calls for leaf jobs - I seem to be bidding too high though -we'll see how that goes. Anyway, this site is outstanding! Wish me luck - any advice - much appreciated!
