Your take on the Pro-V

    What do you guys think about it???
    i can get a new 52in one at my dealer for $5,200
    What do you think???

    The controls wear out and get sloppy. The mower works but I believe they are going to discontinue it in the near future.

    my dealer, who is a pretty honest guy, told me that the don't wear out unless you store them outside.is that true?

    the reason i haven't bought one is because its about impossible to jump curbs and raise the front wheels when your about to crest a hill. I use walkbehinds on tricky areas when they are steep and hard to mow, these areas you have to be able to muscle the mower around at times and a pro-v is very hard to do that with.

    I don't know if that's true. It's the fact that they use a lot of linkage points from the controls to the pumps. I guess they can wear faster if they are dry.
