My Toro Z Master with only 100 hours on it is pushing hydaulic fluid out of the reservoir. It is comming up out of the vent hole in the cap. I called the dealer and he said he'd never seen one do anything like it and he would have to call Toro Technical Support in the morning. I'll go down and check with him this afternoon. In the meantime, anyone no what this could be? BTW: the machene is working fine, the hyraulics are smooth as can be and are making no unusual sounds.

Our old JD z trac front mount does the same thing. We just go right on and don't pay any attention to it.

Most reservoirs are only meant to be filled 3/4 the way or so because hydraulic fluid expanse a great deal when it gets hot. You may supplely have over filled it. Check your manual on this. I have seen this happen before, a lot of the landscapers around here use very unskilled labor and they see the reservoirs are not at the tip top and fill them up way past full and it makes a real mess. And to make matters worse they put the wrong fluid in half the time. Just try to flush a hydraulic system some fool put 90W gear oil in. Recheck your manual on type and level.

Talked to the dealer today. One of the hoses from one of the pumps was loose at the end thus air was getting into the system. Tightened it back up and works fine.
