i am going with merit WP this season and using my z spray .
any of you spray merit out of it?
it calls for 1.6 oz packet per 11,000 sf . if my math is correct thats 4.9 packs(5 packs) per tank (i am using the 1/3 gal/1000sf tips and have the 18 gal tank)
    is this correct?

You right on the money. I use Merit on my ornamentals and the rate for that is 1.6 oz pack per 300 gals of water. I love Merit, it does a great job on lacebugs, esp. on azaleas.:usflag:

    I do my merit through a z-max.
I mix the wp in a bucket 1st then add to tank.
    works fine

    54,000 sf per 18 gal.

grub rate=1.6 oz pack does 11,000 sf
    11 into 54 = 4.9 bags
