i am having trouble getting one of my zerks to take grease on my 48" hydro walker. i put the grease gun on it and the grease ooozes out around it and it won't go in. it is like it is frozen. i need help quick or i will loose my front left wheel. thank you in advance.

    JDWilliams1,

This is what you can do. First check to make sure that the grease zerk ball is free. What you need is a special tool, like a nail, ice pick, screwdriver or something to poke that ball (Be careful not to poke yourself, especially if you're using a rusty, old nail!). Most likely the ball is just stuck or painted over that's not allowing the grease to go in.

Now if the ball is free and it's still not taking grease, you need to take the zerk out. Take your special tool and dig out whatever it is plugging the hole. After that it should take grease. Give that a try and tell us if it works.

    Thanks, Fred.
