I have a 2008 Ferris 3100z zero-turn mower powered by a 37hp Kawasaki. I am interested in purchasing a (500lb) Brinly Lawn Roller, and I would like to know what the pulling/towing capacity is for Zero-Turn mowers equivalent to the size I have. I am aware the manual says 300lbs on a slight incline, however, can it pull more weight without damaging the hydrostatic drive units? Are any of you pulling a 500lb (+) roller with your Zero Turns?

    Thanks for any info,
    Tim

My dealer has told me he knows some guys that use their ZTR to pull a boat out of the water !! No joke, however, you do run the risk of hydro damage.

I have pulled one many times with a my little 41" grasshopper and never had a problem. You won't have any problems pulling it with that beast you have.
