Does anyone have any experience with the core aerator that mounts on the front of a ZTR mower?

Specifically the one manufactured by CMI (http://www.countrymfgstore.com/zetumocoaewi.html) or the Southco (http://www.southcosalesinc.com/Attachments08.pdf).

Our area has been in drought conditions for 2 years and the soil is rocky anyway. We have used the Turfo, Lesco, Bluebird, and Ryan walk behind aerators but they don't have enough downforce in our dry conditions.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The JRCO brand font attachments look to be really nice, effective, and well built. They have video for each attachment in use too. http://www.jrcoinc.com/default.asp

That looks like well built equipment. I will be contacting them shortly. Hopefully I can get additional information at the GIC Show in Louisville next week.

I'll keep you posted on my findings.

Let me know what you discover, more curious about price and how to get the equipment - online, independent dealer, or chain...
