Bought a new John Deere Z-Trac today and was wondering what was the best way to turn around and go the other direction? When I do it, it makes the grass tear to the ground. I can't seem to figure out how to turn 0* and not have a problems. Are there tricks to accomplishing this? By the way this is my first time to ever drive one.

I never do a zero turn. It has always torn the turf. I do a "Y" turn or three point turn as many call it.

I recently bought a new Toro midmount, same probs, I can only do 3 point turns without damage quickly, zero turns on paddock grasses are ok. Let us know how the green machine goes, nice mowers!
