HI there! I have a corten steel water fountain I recently purchased. I dont think it will last because the sink area wasn't waterproofed correctly. Can you tell me what you might use to waterproof the fountain basin?

"I have decided this year I am only going to use natural products. These natural products cost more than double and I have had call backs using them but it is impossible to keep the mist off you and obviously your clothing. Long term is it really worth the exposure? "

You posted this in 2019. Do you mind if I ask what your experience has been with organics? Specifically for pest control.
Thanks.

Hey, Only thing I have left over is the lid for the air cleaner but the hinge is broken. Is that what you are after?

Are you the same JTQ selling the P228? I'm not a member of the 1911addicts site so can't reach out that way, but I'd be interested in purchasing your Sig.

measure the clutch drum. The there are 2 sizes. Smaller size takes GX 25. Larger takes the gx35

I get at least 250 hours on the brass and stainless pump. However, when the seals on the pump give way, the bearings in the gear reduction are safe because they are in an oil bath crankcase. Furthermore, the replacement seals are about $20 and very easy to replace.

Hi GreenDoc,

Thanks for the helpful info.
I just received the sprayer today. Very happy with it. I would eventually like to swap the 2 cycle with a gx25 in the future, are they a direct fitment?

HI GreenDoc,

I found a knockoff Maruyama in Australia; it has a Brass pump coupled with 2-cycle engine. I would've loved to have a gx25 as they're easier on the ears than a 2-cycle.
How many hours do you have on the Chinese brass pump?
I have read some of your posts on various forums, I believe you've also swapped a Maruyama engine over to a Honda gx25, is it a direct fitment?

I also have a Solo 433. Funny you should mention because I ended up replacing it's plastic body pump with the Chinese made brass and stainless pump as well. I use my sprayers hard. Hundreds of liters go through them every year. The Solo pump has the same design issue of a dry gearbox. That dry gearbox becomes compromised when the liquid seals allow the pumped liquid into it.

Hi GreenDoctor,
I'm glad you told me about these plastic body pumps. Solo cost $1800 AUD ($1173 USD), it's a lot of money for a machine with reliability issues. I'm looking to buy a gas-powered sprayer to replace a Stihl SR450 mist blower.
How many hours did you get out of the solo before replacing the pump?
is there any website you could recommend for a Chinese sprayer?
thanks

Hi Greendoc,
Do you have any experience with Gas backpack sprayers from China?
thanks

They are often very well made. Brass and stainless pumps. High pressure. True story, but I ended up fitting a Chinese made pump to replace the plastic body pump on my Maruyama MS-75 backpack sprayer. The plastic body pump had reliability issues vs the brass and stainless pumps. For one thing, the moving parts of the Chinese pump are all oil bath lubricated. The Maruyama pump only has a thin smear of grease.

Thank you so much for the reply. I greatly appreciate it.

I'm struggling to find a gas-powered backpack sprayer in Australia. Solo 433 is the only option, it's a very expensive unit here, almost 5 times the amount of the Chinese model. I'll look into one and see how I go.

Thank you.
