Why the switch? Do you notice better hillside stability? less turf damage/more turf damage in turns?
Yes, better hillside stability. And less turf damage on turns. And better in mud. May ride slightly rougher than regular tires, but for all the benefits it's worth it and the difference in the ride is not that much.

@Tommy Kite Most definitely worth it for doing slopes. A couple hundred is cheap compared to crashing the mower and getting hurt or killed. They do leave indentations in wet yards (bar marks), that is the only downside that I've found with them.
