Front lawn at my own residence has been over run by clover. Whats my best bet for getting rid of it?

This is really a pretty no-brainer thread. As Rodney said, clover requires VERY LITTLE effort to kill...

All I am saying is.....REGUALAR 2-4,D doesn't has no control on Clover. That is why combination products are needed. It doesn't matter what rate you use, you are not going to get clover.
Are you sure you are not using a combo product or something other then 2-4,D?

basically what people here are telling you is that you should spend more money than you need to. why would he hire a professional for clover? its clover! it dies if you look at it the wrong way. why would he go to jdl and spend more money for a concentrate that he has to find out how to properly mix, and then have a boatload of the stuff left over?
go to home depot. check the labels for products, if they're labeled for clover control use it, its pre-mixed and you dont have to worry about it. just read the entire label and follow the directions.

This is easy, it is called an ego, some will see a question that on it's face is asked by someone with limited experience. they take the time to type and spue nonsense but close their statements with a curt you don't have a license or higher a pro BS. to tell you the truth I would like to slap everyone that does that. Less than 1/2 the people hear on lawnsite that claim to be fully documented are not I can tell I have been doing this for as long as dirt is old.... otherwise they would not take the time to stroke their egos they would be on the forums that REQUIRE A LICENSE to join.
Bottom line... people who spue your not licensed B-crap should shut up and leave this OPEN forum and join a forum that requires verifiable documentation to join.
2-4-D will not touch clover. You are going to need Dicamba.
That was said a bunch of times 16 years ago.....
