I been using a A-frame rack I made with post sticking out (simlar to a weight lifting plate holder)to store weed trimmers on when not on trailer..Got to be a more efficient way so as not to use so much space..let alone keep bumping into- Got any pic's on how to hang from above? how do you do it? Thanks again for any info- P.S.outside storage isn't a option. Geno

I bought a bunch of storage hooks for my shed where I keep my equipment. They screw into the wood framing on the shed. They come in different shapes and sizes and can be bought at any hardware store or Walmart, etc. I bought them about 2 years ago, but have only hung a few items and the rest of the equipment is laying around in the shed getting in my way. I need to take a whole day and arrange the whole shed. Maybe someday. Items that don't hang, I have on steel storage shelving.

i have 2-prong hangers for my trimmers, slide the shaft in right below the motor and let them hang. i dont like hanging them upside down because some times you will get some fuel leaking out. for the other stuff i have hooks mounted to hang most of the stuff from.
You should consider fixing any fuel leaks as that is more of a safety hazard then taking the ROPS off a mower. :D

I use something similar to what robct has, I'll try and remember to grab some pics.

Screw hooks in rafters for loop handled trimmer, also for attachments for split shaft model. Bicycle handled trimmer hangs on pegboard wall . This is a older Stihl that has a meatl stand, heavy round steel formed to make stand, I custom bent 1/4"pegboard hooks so it hangs powerhead up, trimmer head down, with no leaking fuel issues. Stihl hedgtrimmer hangs from single pegboardhook in handle opening.
