NorthStar ATV Sprayer with Boom-less Spray System — 26 Gallon, 4 GPM, 12 Volt, 36 foot spray pattern

I believe you can get an 8 and 11 boomless spray tip too

Anybody use one of these things in the field? It would seem pretty convienent. 26 gallons, you could do 13,000 sq ft with at 2 gallons per 1000
Just wondering if anyone has used one

You could strap it to your mower

I have one custom mounted on a bolens garden tractor the spray tip mine came with was the boomless that sprays a 14' path.I put one on each side of the tank i put the tips into 1/2" pvc pipe.Pointed the tips inward towards each other to get even pattern, gives me 2 gal/1ooo with a 10' path.I also put a shut-off valve on the back fender so I can easily control the on/off.Getting pictures to show.It works great, i mounted it on 1" square stock for strength,I can also just remove 4 bolts holding down sprayer and install my 12v spreader in 5 min (uses same plug-in)

SWEET
Do you have to go slow or is it an OK pace
Smart about repositioning the tips, didn't think about that
a picture would be great

Im not good with all the uploading of picture stuff, but my daughter is going to show me how and i'll try to get them to you.I get alot of compliments on my set-up.At my set-up spraying 10' wide i can go 100' in 30sec for 2gal per 1000 my pump put out 4gpm. I put a gold series on it from tractor supply store it was 115.00. All hoses and tubing are 1/2" i.d for less resriction to get your most gpm.I am now going to make it so I can shut off either left or right side if needed at any time. If you dont already have one mounted be sure to secure it good 26 gallons (208 lbs.) is alot when your bouncing around.also put snowblower lug type treads on the front of tractor to help with the steering from the excess weight on back, they work great the stock turf tires would just slide on top of the ground when trying to turn. I've modified alot of things to make this sprayer easy to use.

Any luck getting pictures posted? I'm very curious as well. What size Bolens do you have. I want to setup a similar rig on an old John Deere 110 but I wasn't sure it would handle the 25 gallon tank.

Any idea how this works with AACT? Just curious if "the heard" takes a beating after running through this.

I would not think it would be an issue, it is a diaphram type pump. I guess the only way to know is to test BUT..............

If you are made 400 billion microbes in the brewer and are spraying out only 350 billion I don't see it as a big issue

from my experience and speaking with many others the only thing that seems to affect the herd is PSI, if you are spraying at very high PSI (200 ish). I am sure there are other issues but just go and apply it

The other question I would have is whether or not 2g/K is enough for CT. I have a grasshopper mower with the mounting brackets for the grass catcher.....I'm thinking I could strap it on to those. A full catcher would weigh close to 200lbs.

Anyway, I'm more concerned with the gals./K.

You have two choices, go slower or make 2 or 3 passes

So 2 gal/k is not enough? I don't have many lawns yet, but the average size is about 15k sq. ft. So I would have to re-fill twice per lawn. I'm wondering if this method would still be quicker than lugging a hose around? Does the same apply for your products Bill? Or can I cut down on the gal/thousand?
